The sustainable management of our heritage sites is critical to preserving the stories that have shaped New Zealand of today.

While emphasis is on the land owner to satisfy all legal requirements around historical sites,  JTL researches databases for any sites of cultural significance and proactively engages with local iwi to obtain local knowledge.

Should any site of interest to Heritage NZ be identified during the course of forest establishment, management or harvesting, JTL will undertake to satisfy any legal compliance requirements and plan works around the site to ensure they meet the guidelines as set by relevant parties.
